Coaches at Lingo Live encourage learners to co-create their learning experience, bring their actual work to lessons, and/or feel confident role-playing common work scenarios. Learners grow both personally and professionally, through the lens of workplace-situated lesson concepts.

Key Coach Responsibilities
- Host 45-minute 1-on-1 sessions via video classroom with learners, followed by a 15-minute window for written feedback
- Design or creatively adapt resources to actively engage learners in the virtual classroom
- Deliver engaging, meaningful, well-prepared lessons, targeted to help the learner grow in their most critical areas of language or communication in the workplace
- Hold learners accountable to their learning goals, roadmap future areas for improvement, and clearly demonstrate where and how they’re making progress
- Provide high quality, timely, and constructive feedback to learners that falls in-line with learning objectives
You have…
- A proven track record of exceptional instruction using task-based or situated learning methodologies
- 3+ years experience as a language, business, communication or life coach/teacher
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: pronunciation, writing, presentation, culture, interpersonal skills and leadership
- Familiarity coaching online and using online tools (e.g. materials sharing, virtual classroom, Google Drive)
- Intimate knowledge of multiple cultures and/or languages
- Native linguistic and cultural proficiency in the language you’re applying to coach
- A reliable internet connection with an upload and download speed of at least 5 megabits per second, a webcam and external headset or microphone and headphones.
